Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN, seeks a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to serve as Medical Director of Interventional Radiology. This 100% IR leadership role combines clinical excellence with strategic direction, program development, and physician leadership across the Michiana region.

You will oversee IR service line growth, lead quality initiatives, mentor staff, and collaborate with Oncology, Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, and Women’s Health.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist
• Board-certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
• Eligible for Indiana medical licensure
• Leadership experience in hospital, practice, or service line
• Commitment to quality, patient satisfaction, and clinical innovation
• Interest in program development and strategic growth
• Excellent communication and collaborative leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Director for the Interventional Radiology program
• Provide clinical leadership and strategic oversight for IR service line growth
• Lead quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
• Partner with hospital and physician leaders to expand access and enhance patient care
• Mentor and support physicians, APPs, and clinical staff
• Practice in a 100% Interventional Radiology setting
• Maintain a dedicated IR clinic with protected clinic time
• Perform advanced image-guided vascular and nonvascular interventions
• Collaborate with Oncology, Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, Women's Health, and others
• Help recruit and retain top physician talent while fostering excellence
