Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks an Interventional Radiology Technician to support technologists and nursing staff during radiologic and interventional procedures. You will help ensure patient safety, workflow efficiency and high-quality care in Radiology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Prefer candidate actively enrolled in a Radiologic Technology program preparing for registry (ARRT/ARDMS).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and coordinates activities during surgical procedures by anticipating staff needs and necessary supplies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and safety in instrument use during procedures.
• Maintains accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments and gathers supplies before procedures.
• Ensure specimens are correctly handled and routed to the proper source.
• Other duties as assigned
