Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a motivated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to support technologists and nursing staff during radiologic and interventional procedures. This role ensures efficient workflow, patient safety, and high-quality care within Radiology.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Candidate actively enrolled in Radiologic Technology program preferred for registry (ARRT/ARDMS).
• Knowledge of surgical and radiologic procedures preferred.
• IV certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and coordinates activities during procedures by anticipating staff needs and supplies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and safety in instrument use.
• Maintains accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments; gathers supplies before procedures.
• Ensures specimens are handled and routed correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
