Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team, supporting patients across the outpatient continuum.

This full-time CMA/LPN role (0.8 FTE, 64 hours biweekly) offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities for professional growth and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• One or two years of medical experience preferred.
• Active Wisconsin LPN license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule Interventional Radiology consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to facilitate seamless care coordination.
• Manage referrals and ensure documentation, authorizations, and records are obtained prior to scheduling.
• Communicate procedure instructions, appointment details, and follow-up information to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support department workflow through scheduling and administrative processes.
