Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our SURGERY team.

The CMA will perform patient care duties under supervision, with a mix of clinical and non-clinical tasks across the outpatient continuum. Responsibilities include delegated interventions within state regulations and representing a certified or registered medical assistant.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited MA program or three years equivalence in medical background and experience.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CMA Certification or Registration required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire with Health Care Provider CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist in outpatient care with clinical and non-clinical duties.
• Perform patient care duties under supervision of a licensed professional.
• May perform delegated interventions within state regulations.
• Represent a Medical Assistant who is certified or registered.
