Responsibilities

• Provide charge nurse responsibilities including assignments and throughput management.
• Manage a patient care assignment according to patient care needs.
• Assist with hiring, education and performance evaluation of staff.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager and HR on performance management and discipline.
• Instruct staff and ensure compliance with standards through monitoring and performance management.
• Serve as a role model and mentor for clinical practice and patient staff satisfaction.
• Pursue productivity targets and budget compliance.
• Lead unit performance improvement activities and outcomes.
