Job summary

Rush Oak Park Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist in invasive cardiac cath and interventional procedures. Works under department manager with limited supervision and adheres to established policies.

Requires Radiologic Technology program graduate, IEMA license, ARRT registry, CPR, and ACLS eligibility within 6–12 months. On-site, 10-hour shifts, on-call duties included, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Valid Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license.
• ARRT registry, CPR and ACLS within 6 months-1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in invasive cardiac cath and interventional procedures.
• Prepares patient and room per protocol; positions patient using anatomy knowledge.
• Operates cardiac cath/interventional radiology equipment and maintains rooms.
• Mentors staff and students; participates in data collection for registries.
• Performs clerical duties and on-call as needed.
