Job summary

City of Hope in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Interventional Radiology Advanced Practice Provider for a PRN role. You will deliver high-quality medical services within your scope, performing comprehensive assessments, ordering and interpreting tests, and contributing to treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Training Program or MSN/NP.
• Licensed/certified and eligible to practice as Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona OR Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
• Arizona Certification: American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes critical judgment in the performance of comprehensive health assessment, differential medical diagnosis including ordering, conducting, interpreting diagnostic and laboratory tests, and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
• Conducts comprehensive physical examination.
• Initiates and interprets diagnostic tests and procedures relevant to the patient’s current status.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive plan of care that includes interventions and treatments to attain expected outcomes.
• Collaborates with health team members to establish priorities and coordinate care to provide planned treatment and services.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Training Program OR Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), Nurse Practitioner (NP)
