Job summary

City of Hope invites applications for a Pain and Palliative Advanced Practice Provider in Arizona. The role hires either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and provides professional medical services within the scope of practice.

The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments, order tests, and develop care plans for acute and chronic conditions, collaborating with the health care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in advanced practice provider role.
• Graduate of accredited PA program OR MSN/NP.
• Licensed/certified as PA in AZ or APRN in AZ.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive physical examination.
• Initiates and interprets diagnostic tests and procedures relevant to the patient’s current status.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive plan of care that includes interventions and treatments to attain expected outcomes.
• Collaborates with health team members to establish priorities and coordinate care.
