Qualifications

• Master’s degree from accredited nursing program.
• Master’s degree from accredited physician assistant program.
• Active Ohio license with prescriptive authority and board certification (nurse practitioner or PA).
• Three years nursing experience (NP) or one year PA experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand IR indications, alternatives, risks and steps to provide to patients and families.
• Perform history and physical examinations prior to IR procedures.
• Obtain informed consent for IR procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-procedure orders and post-procedure rounds.
• Coordinate inpatient/outpatient IR requests and communicate with IR team throughout the day.
• Attend IR Morbidity & Mortality Conferences and participate in quality safety programs.
