Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Radiology team at Piedmont Macon. Open to FNP, NP, or PA with interest in image-guided procedures, pre/post-procedure care, and collaborative patient-centered care.

The role supports radiology with physicians, nurses, and referring providers, emphasizing efficiency, safety, and compassionate care in a fast-paced department.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an FNP, NP, or PA in Georgia.
• Certification by an accredited national board (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA, or equivalent).
• Prior Radiology or interventional procedure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support image-guided procedures (e.g., thoracentesis, paracentesis, joint injections, lumbar punctures, fluoroscopy).
• Conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and referring providers; maintain medical records.
• Assist with scheduling, triage, and care coordination within Radiology.
