UVA Health in Charlottesville is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for Interventional Radiology to deliver image-guided care to adults and select pediatric/geriatric patients. You’ll work with radiologists, residents, and teams across the health system to perform procedures that impact diagnosis and treatment.

This role offers structured onboarding, credentialing, and increasing autonomy within a growing radiology APP team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master’s degree.
• Eligible for Virginia Advanced Practice Provider licensure and credentialing.
• Current BLS; ACLS/PALS as required for position.

Responsibilities

• Perform image-guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and image-guided biopsies.
• Utilize ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and CT guidance to support patient care.
• Collaborate with oncology, nephrology, and other services to coordinate care.
• Participate in onboarding and credentialing pathways for long-term success.
• Develop procedural expertise within a complex environment and team.
