Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls; provide routine information to callers.
• Type correspondence, reports, and special projects as requested.
• Schedule and prepare department meetings; maintain filing systems.
• Enter data into information systems; manage department paperwork.
• Assist with purchasing, laboratory coordination, and patient records.
• Post lab data to patient charts; ensure timely chart assembly and delivery.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to coordinate appointments and referrals.
• Collect payments/deposits when applicable and balance receipts.
• Support department with purchasing requisitions and vendor coordination.
