Odyssey Locums is seeking a board-certified radiologist for a per diem position in Sanford, FL. The role involves performing interventional procedures, biopsies, and drainage, with a focus on high-volume trauma imaging and CT/ultrasound workups.

The assignment offers premium hourly pay, paid housing and travel, tail coverage, and a dedicated recruiter. Schedule is days, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST, seven days per week with after-hours call coverage.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiologist required.
• Interventional radiology experience preferred.
• Competence in trauma imaging at a Level II center.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsies and drainage.
• Conduct diagnostic CT, ultrasound, and trauma imaging workups.
• Maintain productivity of 45 RVUs per shift.
• Work schedule: Days 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST, 7 days/week.

The Role:

• Location: Sanford, FL
• Type: PerDiem
• Number of Positions: 1
• Shift Type: Days, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, 7 days/week
• Call Coverage: After-hours interventional radiology call coverage required on weekdays and weekends; IR call Monday-Sunday
• Cases: Interventional procedures including biopsies (bone, lung, lymph node), drainage procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, dialysis access and line placement; diagnostic workload includes high-volume CT trauma imaging, CT angiography, CT perfusion, vascular and abdominal ultrasound, and extensive musculoskeletal trauma radiography
• Productivity expectation: 45 RVUs per shift minimum
• Site Charting System: PowerScribe 4.0
• Board Certification: Required
• Level of Trauma Center: Level II trauma center
• Interview Required: No
