Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking a board-certified radiologist for a radiology locum tenens assignment in Oviedo, FL. The role covers high-volume ED imaging with CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, including neurovascular and stroke imaging support.

Shift is M-F 8a-5p EST, with streamlined credentialing and dedicated recruiting support. Premium hourly pay, paid housing, travel, tail coverage, and referral bonuses are offered to qualified providers.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiologist with current licensure.
• Ability to interpret a broad range of imaging studies.
• Credentialing completed within 90 days or less.

Responsibilities

• Interpret radiology studies across X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
• Support high-volume ED imaging with stroke and neurovascular priorities.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient CT interpretation and image-guided procedures.

The Role:

• Location: Oviedo, FL
• Shift Type: M-F 8a-5p EST.
• Cases: X-Ray (Portable Chest, Chest 2 View, Trauma Extremities, Pelvis, Spine); CT (CT Head, CT Abdomen/Pelvis, CTA Chest PE, CTA Head/Neck, Trauma CT); Ultrasound (Venous Duplex, Gallbladder, Renal, Pelvic, OB/GYN); MRI (Brain, Spine, Shoulder, Pelvis); Fluoroscopy (Esophagram, Upper GI, Small Bowel Follow Through); Nuclear Medicine (HIDA, Lung Perfusion, Bone Scan); Light IR (Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Breast Localization).
• Site Charting System: RPCE Tech Stack; Powerscribe 4.0.
• Workload: High emergency department imaging utilization; significant CT stroke and neurovascular imaging activity; strong chest radiography volume; routine inpatient and outpatient CT interpretation; vascular, abdominal, renal, and OB ultrasound support; limited but consistent image‑guided procedural work.
• Productivity: 45 RVUs per shift.
• Requirements: Board Certified
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 Days
