Job summary

Odyssey Locums is recruiting a radiologist for a Titusville, FL assignment. You will cover XR/CT/MR/US/Fluoro, with emphasis on mammography and stereotactic biopsies, and provide light interventional radiology support. Experience with Epic and Merge is preferred.

The position offers premium hourly pay, streamlined credentialing, and 24/7 recruiter support to ensure smooth credentialing and scheduling across a supportive national network. Board certification and Florida license are required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiologist with active Florida license.
• DEA registration and malpractice coverage required.
• Experience reading mammography and performing stereotactic/needle biopsies.
• Proficient with Epic charting and Merge PACS.

Responsibilities

• Read XR, CT, MR, US, and Fluoro studies; support mammo procedures.
• Perform mammography including needle biopsies and stereotactic biopsies.
• Provide light interventional radiology procedures as needed and interpret general radiology studies.

The Role:

• Location: Titusville, FL 32796
• Shift Type: Days, M-F, 8a to 5p
• Cases: XR, CT, MR, US, Fluoro; mammography procedures (diagnostic and stereotactic/needle biopsies); light interventional radiology procedures including biopsies (thyroid, bone, lung, liver, renal), CT-guided and US-guided biopsies, drainages, paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tubes, cyst procedures, lumbar punctures, diagnostic lumbar punctures, myelogram, and epidural procedures
• Daily Volume Expectations: 90-100 studies per 8-hr shift; wRVUs: 60-70
• Requirements: Provider must be able to do Mammo procedures (needle bx's, stereotactic breast bbx's , etc) able to read general radiology studies and Light IR procedures (para's thora's drainages, etc.)
• Site Charting System: Epic
• PACS System: Merge
• Dictation System: Fluency
• Certification Requirements: Board Certified, Active FL License & DEA.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 Days
