Interventional Radiologist Physician will provide specialized interventional radiology services supporting the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA. The facility is seeking a pool of fully credentialed Interventional Radiologists to provide on-call, after-hours, leave, and as-needed coverage.

Physicians may also provide clinic coverage when full‑time IRs are unavailable. Assignment spans August 17, 2026 – March 31, 2030 with in-person work at the Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• IR board certification as required.
• Active DEA certificate.

Responsabilités

• Provide interventional radiology services for the Atlanta VA Medical Center.
• Provide on-call, after-hours, leave and as-needed coverage.
• Clinic coverage when full-time IRs are unavailable.
• Maintain complete electronic medical records and documentation.
• Participate in quality-improvement activities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Comply with VA credentialing and policies.
