Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Board certification in Interventional Radiology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active DEA license.
• Strong Interventional Radiology clinical experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Interventional Radiology physician services.
• Evaluate patients and provide consultations.
• Develop and manage treatment plans.
• Perform interventional radiology procedures within the physician's scope of practice and facility privileges.
• Provide appropriate pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic medical record documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Participate in peer review and quality-improvement activities as required.
• Participate in administrative and clinical meetings when required.
• Follow facility Medical Bylaws, policies, procedures, and applicable VA requirements.
