Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications seeks an interventional radiologist to join the James J. Peters VA Medical Center as a 1099 contractor. The on-site schedule is weekday, with shared call rotation and a two-hour minimum call-back; liability coverage is provided by CLFC.

The practice focuses on complex vascular and oncologic interventions with image-guided techniques, supported by an angiography suite and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ABR IR certification or Diagnostic Radiology with IR subspecialty certification, with Maintenance of Certification current.
• Active, full and unrestricted license in any one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Active DEA registration and an NPI.
• Eligible to be credentialed and privileged at a federal medical facility and to pass a federal background investigation.
• For call participation, reachable by phone within 15 minutes and able to be on site within 45 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Practice interventional radiology and related image-guided procedures.
• Work with a credentialed team, shared call rotation, and a weekday 8:00–4:30 schedule.
• Coordinate with hospital staff; no RVU targets, billing, coding, or lab time competition.
