Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is seeking an interventional radiologist for a 1099 on-site assignment at James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with a shared call rotation.

The veteran population requires complex vascular and oncologic procedures in a tertiary setting. Licenses: active, unrestricted U.S. license; New York license not required. DEA and NPI required. CLFC pays credentialing.

Qualifications

• MD or DO is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology, or Diagnostic Radiology with IR subspecialty and MOC current.
• Active, full, unrestricted license in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Active DEA registration and an NPI.
• Eligible for federal credentialing and privileging.
• For call, reachable within 15 minutes and on site within 45 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional radiology services without RVU targets or billing duties.
• Weekday schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a shared call rotation.
• Operate in a staffed angiography suite with imaging, technologists and nursing support.
• CLFC coordinates and pays credentialing and privileging for the assignment.
