Job summary

Phoenix VA Health Care System is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist to provide the full spectrum of IR procedures and patient care within the Radiology Service. This role emphasizes supervision, quality, and adherence to accreditation standards across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings for Veterans in central Arizona.

Candidates must hold an MD/DO, be US-licensed, and meet VA requirements; board certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a US-licensed physician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct interventional radiology procedures 100% of the time.
• Evaluate and prioritize IR orders and consults.
• Perform inpatient consults and evaluate outpatients in the IR clinic.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of radiology results with CPT/diagnosis.
• Participate in education of trainees and multidisciplinary conferences.
