Job summary

Phoenix VA Health Care System seeks an Interventional Radiologist to provide the full spectrum of IR services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings for Veterans in central Arizona. The role includes supervising staff, overseeing compliance, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Applicants should have MD/DO, full US licensure, completed residency in an approved core specialty, and willingness to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Completion of residency in an approved core specialty.
• Board certification preferred for faculty status.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures.
• Evaluate and prioritize IR orders and consults.
• Perform inpatient consults and outpatient clinic evaluations.
• Timely and accurate reporting of complex cross-sectional CT vascular imaging.
• Mentor trainees and participate in educational activities as assigned.
• Participate in department and system-wide committees and quality improvement projects.
