Job summary

UPMC Altoona is seeking an Interventional Radiologist (IR/DR hybrid) to join our world‑class health system. MD or equivalent, BC/BE in Radiology, ability to obtain PA license, and proficiency in interventional radiology procedures for a community hospital.

This employed practice includes 90+ subspecialty‑trained Radiologists with strong support from 3 APPs and Reading Room Assistants. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or equivalent and be BC/BE in Radiology.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
• Proficient in interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional radiology services in a community hospital setting.
• Collaborate with a large radiology team and APPs for patient care.
• Participate in teaching and/or research if desired.
