Job summary

UPMC Altoona is seeking an Interventional Radiologist (IR/DR hybrid) to join our world-class health system at the Altoona campus. Must have an MD or equivalent, be BC or BE in Radiology with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures required in a community hospital. Join a large employed practice of 90+ subspecialty-trained Radiologists, with strong support from APPs and Reading Room Assistants.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent and board eligibility in Radiology; PA license unrestricted in PA.
• Proficient in interventional radiology procedures required in a community hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures within a community hospital setting.
• Fulfill IR/DR hybrid role as part of an employed radiology team.
• Participate in teaching and/or research if desired through UPMC Department of Radiology.
• Manage IR duties with on-site coverage and call as needed.
