Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York is recruiting an Interventional Radiologist to join NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx.Jacobi Medical Center offers extensive trauma and imaging services within a strong academic environment.

The candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology, complete an IR Fellowship, and hold an active NY license. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or eligibility in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology.
  • Completion of an Interventional Radiology fellowship.
  • Active New York State medical license.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct pre-procedure consultations and post-procedure follow-ups to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Operate and manage advanced imaging equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Participate in emergency interventional procedures as needed.
  • Provide expert consultation on complex cases.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and case discussions.
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
  • Supervise and train residents and fellows.

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include:
  • AnnualBase Salary: $520,250* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $726,250** (board certified),which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
  • Estimatedannual compensation for 10additionalsessional/per diem hours worked per week is $130,000.
  • Projected bonusof up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employeesareimmediatelyvested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match isrequired.
    • Afterone year ofservice, employees receive anadditional7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match isrequired.
  • Annual ContinuingMedical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
