Job summary

VAMC in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to provide coverage for approximately one year with a 4-year option, starting mid June/early July after credentialing. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with a 1:3 call rotation and adult patient population.

The role encompasses arterial and venous diagnostic/interventional procedures, venous access, EMR CPRS charting, and adherence to ACR guidelines in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide Interventional Radiology procedures including arterial and venous interventions
• Perform venous access procedures (tunneled/non-tunneled catheters)
• Follow ACR guidelines for additional IR procedures

Dates coverage is needed: as soon as credentialing/background is complete -1 year (with 4 option years) – Anticipated Start mid June/early July

Schedule/Shifts Times: Monday – Friday, 8:00-am – 4:30pm

Call Requirements: Average 1:3 call rotation

Patient Ages: adults

Type of Charting: EMR – CPRS

Procedures:

Physician(s) shall be responsible for providing Interventional Radiology procedures, including, but not limited:

• Arterial diagnostic & interventional (PTA, stents, thrombolysis, embolization, TACE, stent grafts, foreign body removal)
• Venous diagnostic & interventional (TIPS, thrombectomy, filters, portal vein embolization, venous access)
• Venous access procedures (tunneled/non-tunneled catheters)
• Additional IR procedures per ACR guidelines
