Qualifications

• ARRT certification preferred; ARRT Vascular-Interventional Radiography certification is a plus.
• CPR certification through AHA or ARC approved program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and technical skills in Interventional Radiology equipment operation.
• Serve as a resource for lower level IR Technologists and students.
• Maintain accuracy and safety in image acquisition and documentation.

JOB SUMMARY

To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of Interventional Radiology (IR) equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Acts as a resource for lower level Interventional Radiology Technologists and students

Minimum Qualifications

• Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT); Certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred; Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) approved program.


• Work Experience: 2 years staff IR Technologist


• Equipment Operated: IR equipment, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment
