Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist for the day shift (Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm). The role includes performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, post-processing, and patient care across adolescent to geriatric populations. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications include AMA/JRCERT-accredited radiologic tech training, ARRT/ARDMS eligibility and BCLS on hire. No prior experience is required; location is Augusta, GA.

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited program is required.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration required upon hire; BCLS required upon hire.
• Work experience: No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, GI studies) and modality-assisted drainage/biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and related record keeping.
• Adheres to protocols and distinguishes patient populations (adolescent, adult, geriatric) in performing diagnostic procedures.

Overview:

This position is Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5:30 pm. No weekends. Sign-on bonus available!

Responsibilities:

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program Required
