Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, and GI studies, while delivering skilled patient care.

Must graduate from AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training; ARRT/ARDMS certification and BCLS required at hire; no experience required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies; completes post processing functions.
• Maintains established protocols and documentation for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations in diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
