Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking an RN to serve as an ECT Coordinator in Interventional Psychiatry. You will coordinate complex patient scheduling, obtain clearances, educate patients, and liaise across teams to ensure safe, compliant care.

The role requires travel between Hillcrest, La Jolla, Rancho Bernardo and East Campus. The RN must be a California-licensed nurse with psychiatric experience, BART/BLS, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN License issued by the State of California.
• BART or BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
• Minimum one - two years Psychiatric RN experience within an ambulatory or inpatient setting.
• Case management or care coordination experience involving patients with complex behavioral health and/or medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex patient scheduling for the ECT program.
• Track required medical clearances and specialty consultations.
• Facilitate patient education and treatment preparation; monitor consent completion.
• Serve as liaison between patients, providers, procedural teams and ancillary departments.
• Support continuity of care and optimize workflows with regulatory compliance.
