University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Behavioral Health Service Line Interventional Psychiatry Hospital-Based Outpatient Department on the day shift. The RN provides direct patient care, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and develops plans of care under supervision.

The position requires an Arkansas RN license, 1 year of RN experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Arkansas
• Excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, strong work ethic, and accountability

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to a variety of patients in the BHSL Interventional Psychiatry Hospital-Based Outpatient Department
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team under supervision of the CSM
• Develop and implement a Plan of Care (POC) per standard and coordinate with health care professionals
• Educate patients and families and assist with discharge planning
• Participate in ongoing clinical practice improvement and documentation
