Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health's Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL, seeks an Interventional Procedures Technologist for the Cath Lab on a PRN, part-time basis. You will assist physicians during diagnostics and invasive procedures, prepare equipment and patients, and ensure sterile technique and readiness of supplies.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–5:30 pm with four 10-hour shifts per week and rotating days off; on-call is optional.

Qualifications

• IEMA certification is required.
• ARRT (Radiography) certification required.
• CPR-BLS certification required; ACLS within 12 months of start.
• Experience assisting in cath lab procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician during diagnostics and invasive procedures by preparing equipment and patients.
• Cleans and prepares sterile and non-sterile equipment, catheters and related supplies; troubleshoots equipment as needed.
