Job summary

Iowa Ortho is seeking an Interventional Pain Technologist/Nurse to provide clinical and procedural support in interventional pain management, including patient prep, assisting procedures, imaging, and documentation. This role operates in the procedures area and contributes to patient safety and outcomes.

The position requires handling room setup, sterile technique, and collaboration with licensed providers.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) license.
• Current RN or LPN license.
• BLS certification and completion of required education.
• Experience in procedural or pain management settings preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and procedural support in interventional pain procedures.
• Prepare patients, position, and maintain sterile technique.
• Assist providers during injections, nerve blocks and image-guided procedures.
• Document clinical and procedural information in the EMR with accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and ensure radiation safety throughout cases.
• Support onboarding and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
