Job summary

Pain Specialists of America is seeking a Registered Nurse in Texas to support interventional procedures and patient care. The RN will assist physicians, monitor post-anesthesia patients, document medications, and uphold patient safety with attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have a nursing degree, Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications or within six months of hire, and at least one year of hospital or ASC nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current registration with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow physician orders for all patients.
• Assist physician before, during, or after interventional procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate documentation of medications and treatments.
• Post-anesthesia assessment and vital data documentation.
• Report observations to physician, anesthesiologist and/or CRNA.
• Maintain center policies, supplies, and medications.
• Ensure confidentiality and professional conduct.
