Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Pain Physician for Belfast and Rockport, Maine, focusing on musculoskeletal and spine-related pain, with a procedural practice.

The position includes fluoro-guided and ultrasound-guided injections, medical management, and a diverse patient population, with benefits and sign-on/relocation options.

Total compensation includes base salary of $403,788 plus comprehensive benefits and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship training completed by an ACGME accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted State of ME medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Board Certification/Eligibility.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• EMR Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medical management of patients with spine and neck complaints; a procedural practice focused on alleviating pain.
• Perform fluoro guided spinal injections and ultrasound guided injections.
• Prescribes therapeutic exercise and other rehabilitation modalities.
