Job summary

Starling Physicians in Connecticut seeks a compassionate Pain Management Physician with a strong background in interventional pain medicine to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain. The role involves performing imaging-guided procedures and regenerative therapies, updating care plans, and educating patients for optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold MD or DO with Pain Medicine fellowship, board eligibility in anesthesia/PM&R, and CT licensure or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with residency and fellowship in Pain Medicine.
• Board certification/eligibility in Anesthesiology, PM&R, or related Pain Medicine.
• Valid Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain.
• Strong procedural and imaging-guided interventional skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations including medical history, physical exams, diagnostics and imaging review.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on interventional procedures and regenerative techniques.
• Perform a wide range of procedures including epidural injections, nerve blocks, RF ablations, spinal cord stimulation and PRP therapy.
• Monitor and reassess patient outcomes, adjusting plans to optimize pain relief and quality of life.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with legal and ethical standards.
