Job summary

New Jersey Spine Center in Summit, NJ seeks a Board-Eligible Physiatrist to join as a full-time clinician focusing on interventional spine and pain medicine. The role emphasizes non-operative spine and musculoskeletal care within a collaborative, physician-led environment.

The ideal candidate will have training in PM&R with a Pain Medicine focus, perform image-guided procedures, and contribute to developing a high-quality patient-centered practice starting in September 2027.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Fellowship-trained or board eligible in Pain Medicine.
• Strong interest in interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine.
• Comfortable performing image-guided procedures or willing to develop advanced procedural skills.
• Committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Excellent communicator and team player.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with spine, musculoskeletal, and pain conditions.
• Perform image-guided interventional spine and pain procedures.
• Conduct fluoroscopically guided injections and other minimally invasive procedures.
• Provide comprehensive non-operative management of spine disorders.
• Collaborate with spine surgeons and multidisciplinary team.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve function and quality of life.
• Engage in established referral network and growing patient base.
