Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• MD or DO degree in allopathic/osteopathic medicine.
• Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Residency in an accredited core specialty leading to board eligibility.
• Board certification may be required for faculty status.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Preferred experience: 1-2 years in a clinical setting.
• Perform interventional pain procedures consistent with privileges.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage Veterans with acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain.
• Perform interventional pain procedures (e.g., epidural injections, facet blocks, ablation, spinal cord stimulation) per privileges.
• Prescribe and manage pain medications following opioid safety initiatives and PDMP guidelines.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team (primary care, BH, PT, pharmacy, Whole Health).
• Complete CPRS documentation and meet access, productivity, and performance metrics.
• Maintain credentialing, privileging, licensure, board certification, and required training.
• Educate Veterans and families on pain conditions, treatments, and self-management.
• Precept or supervise trainees and APPs, as applicable.
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (subject to agency needs).
