Job summary

HealthOp Solutions in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Pain Management Physician to join our outpatient team. The physician will focus on specialized pain management treatments and in-office procedures, evaluating and treating acute and chronic pain conditions.

The ideal candidate has experience with interventional procedures and a strong procedural skill set, with anesthesiology or pain medicine fellowship preferred but not required. AZ license and DEA registration needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency completed in a relevant medical specialty.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in specialized pain management and in-office interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Perform specialized pain management procedures and in-office interventions based on clinical indications.
• Conduct interventional treatments such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and other appropriate procedures.
• Perform or assist with advanced minimally invasive pain management procedures, including spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and endoscopic procedures, as appropriate to training and privileges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating interventional therapies, medication management, and conservative treatment options.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and clinical support staff to coordinate patient care.
