Job summary

Elios Healthcare in Louisville, KY is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician (MD/DO) to join a physician-led group with a surgery center and three clinics. Interventional Pain Management Physician (MD or DO)

About the Opportunity

A physician-led interventional pain management group is adding a physician to its established Kentucky market: one surgery center and three clinics, supported by an experienced APP team.

The care philosophy is education first. Patients learn every option available to them, and the group works to avoid long-term medication management wherever a procedural or interventional path can deliver better results.

Your Practice

• Roughly 2.5 days per week in clinic and 2.5 days per week in the surgery center
• See new patients and build your own panel with real autonomy over how you practice
• Perform bread and butter injections through advanced cases, including spinal cord stimulator implants and pain pumps
• Hand off stable follow-up care to APPs while retaining oversight, so your clinic time stays focused on new evaluations and procedures
• Dedicated medical assistant support, plus front office and lab staff

The Team You're Joining

• Currently one physician in market, a second starting next year, and this role fills the third seat
• Five to six APPs already in place
• The physician who has anchored this market since 2021 is glad to mentor a newer physician coming in
• Leadership includes practicing physicians and ASC operators

What They're Looking For

• Board certified MD or DO in Anesthesiology, PM&R, Neurology, Radiology, Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Solid procedural range, from routine injections to advanced interventional cases
• Strong bedside manner. Patient satisfaction carries real weight here, alongside how you work with staff
• Comfortable in a fast-paced clinic and ASC environment
• Clean licensure history with no board disciplinary action
• Active or eligible Kentucky medical license

Experienced physicians are ideal, and the group is genuinely flexible. They regularly hire out of fellowship and will teach and develop a newer physician. Fellows finishing in 2027 are welcome to interview now for a future start.

Compensation

• Base salary: $350,000 to $450,000
• Quarterly production bonus beginning in year two, built on a points system tied to case mix. Physicians have earned upwards of $25,000 in a single quarter
