Job summary

Zohorecruit is assisting a premier outpatient clinic in Cranston, RI that seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (APRN/FNP/AGNP) to join its interventional pain management team. The role focuses on high-quality, evidence-based care for chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions, emphasizing non-opioid therapies and interventional procedures.

The position requires RI APRN licensure or eligibility, board certification as FNP/AGNP, 1+ year in Pain Management, and DEA plus BLS/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice.
• RI APRN license or eligibility for licensure by the Rhode Island Board.
• Board certification as FNP or AGNP (AANP or ANCC).
• At least 1 year in Pain Management; orthopedics/PM&R valued.
• Active DEA and Rhode Island Controlled Substance registration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active.
• Willingness to travel as required by the clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient evaluations and focused physical examinations.
• Formulate treatment plans for chronic pain, neuropathies, and osteoarthritis.
• Perform trigger point and peripheral joint injections.
• Manage medications with regular monitoring.
• Interpret imaging and labs to guide interventions.
• Educate patients on lifestyle changes and interventional options.
• Coordinate care with physicians and physical therapists.
• Ensure timely, accurate EHR documentation.
