Job summary

Connecticut Regional Pain Specialists (CRPS) in Hamden, CT, seeks an APRN/Nurse Practitioner for interventional pain management. Experience is helpful but not required; new graduates considered. Join our office-based practice, work under physicians to order tests, manage medications, and develop comprehensive care plans for diverse chronic pain conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work independently in an office-based setting.
• Order diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient health care needs.
• Prescribe medication when appropriate.
• Record physical findings in the EMR and formulate a care plan.
• Prescribe or recommend treatment plans including PT, psychotherapy, massage therapy, and interventional procedures.
• Comply with practice protocol and provide feedback to physicians to optimize patient care.
• Prioritize and respond to multiple requests.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
