Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in the Puget Sound region is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care and to support patient recovery in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure care plans are implemented and documented in accordance with hospital policies. WA RN license and BLS/CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Interventional Radiology/Interventional Pain Management experience or 2 years in an acute care setting.
• WA RN license required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies, safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
• Administers and documents medications as ordered and per policy.
• Assesses patients holistically and plans care based on initial and ongoing assessments.
• Provides culturally sensitive care and communicates effectively with diverse populations.
• Maintains professional practice and pursues opportunities for growth and meeting deadlines.
• Documents patient status using the nursing process and ensures physician orders are executed.
