Job summary

University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) Center of Excellence. The NP provides expert nursing care in neurology-focused HHT clinics, with responsibilities spanning clinical practice, education, consultation, and research under the program directors.

You will coordinate HHT clinic appointments, imaging, and referrals to subspecialists, support anesthesia for procedures, and assist with insurance

Qualifications

• Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing approved or verified school of nursing with a master's degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• 1-3 years experience as nurse practitioner in Neurology, Neurovascular, Neurosurgery or Neuro IR, hematology, OHNS, and/or HHT.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate outpatient and inpatient HHT clinic care.
• Coordinate clinic appointments, imaging requests, and scheduling with subspecialists.
• Assist anesthesia for scheduled procedures and support insurance authorization processes.
• Perform follow-up calls for HHT patients and post-procedural care.
• Conduct inpatient daily rounds with interventional radiology/neuro radiology teams.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with HHT Center of Excellence physicians.
• Screen for clinical trials, coordinate data collection, and assist with research protocols.
