Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Neuro/Angio Technologist to support Neuro-interventionalists, Cardiologists and Radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures within Interventional Radiology and the Cath lab. The role involves scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring, with a focus on complex neurovascular procedures such as aneurysm coils, carotid stenting, and thrombectomy.

The position requires ARRT/RCIS credentials, CPR and ACLS, and offers a 10-hour shift

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree in Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology required.
• ARRT Registry or registry eligible and State RT certification required; or RCIS with State IS certification.
• CPR certification required; ACLS required.
• Two years of related clinical experience preferred; prior cath lab/IR/EP experience preferred.
• 24 CME credits bi-annually; AIDS education mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist neuro-interventionalists, cardiologists and radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures in IR and cath lab.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during invasive neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures.
• Provide care for angiograms with/without stent placement and other complex neurointerventional procedures.
• Work in a 6-room procedural area, with shifts 10 hours and on-call coverage for after hours and weekends.
