Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, invites applicants to the 2027–2028 Interventional Nephrology Fellowship Program for advanced training in interventional nephrology. Clinical care at UW Health locations, research, and teaching are included.

Qualifications

• 2 years of general nephrology fellowship completed before the start of the Interventional Nephrology fellowship.
• MD or DO, or equivalent required.
• Wisconsin Medical License required before start date.
• Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine by the start date.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly Nephrology Grand Rounds; present one Grand Rounds session and one fellow's core curriculum lecture
• Present one abstract at a national conference and publish one manuscript
• Participate in quality improvement or peer review activities related to interventional nephrology
• Provide unsupervised clinical services for the Division of Nephrology as assigned, including ambulatory CKD care and inpatient nephrology service (with weekend calls)
• Supervise and teach residents and medical students during service
