Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an Interventional GI Lab Technician to assist physicians and deliver direct patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

The role includes supporting complex interventional cases, coordinating department operations, MD preference cards, and ensuring supplies and equipment are ready for procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or post-secondary education.
• SGNA Advanced Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs.
• One year of experience as an Interventional GI Lab Technician.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity screening depending on role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician and provides direct care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Assists physicians with various complicated interventional cases for optimal outcome.
• Contributes to work operational functions through schedule development, MD preference card management, and maintenance of supplies/equipment necessary for department.
