Job summary

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art health system in Atlanta seeking a qualified Interventional GI Lab Technician. You will assist physicians with complex cases and provide direct patient care across adolescent to geriatric populations.

The role supports department operations including schedule development, MD preference card management, and maintaining GI supplies/equipment. Requires a high school diploma, SGNA GI tech certificate, 1 year GI lab experience, and BLS with

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent or post-secondary education.
SGNA Advanced Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs.
One year of experience as an Interventional GI Lab Technician.
Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Visual color acuity screening depending on role in specific units.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians and provide direct care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Assist physicians with complex interventional cases for optimal outcomes.
Contribute to department operations through schedule development and MD preference card management.
Maintain supplies and equipment necessary for the GI department.
