Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time, day shift. Grow professionally through a structured Clinical Ladder and sign-on/relocation benefits may be available. 3 days of 12-hour shifts and a competitive pay range are offered to eligible candidates.

You will assess patients comprehensively, develop care plans, administer meds, educate families, and collaborate with the care team while documenting care and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ acute care hospital setting
• RN licensure and active state certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and maintain accurate documentation.
• Respond to code situations and participate in performance improvement activities.
