Qualifications

• ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation required
• Cardiovascular anatomy knowledge required
• Vascular anatomy knowledge required
• Hemodynamic monitoring knowledge required
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Knowledge of common healthcare concepts and procedures required
• Ability to monitor BP, ECG, and SpO2 with clinical equipment
• Experience with Windows operating system required
• Knowledge of all anatomy including circulatory and neuro systems
• Maintaining required registries and licenses for invasive cardiology procedures required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures (coronary, EP, IR, peripheral)
• Respond to clinical emergencies within scope of practice
• Administer and evaluate treatments and medications per policy
• Verify orders and communicate with physicians
• Maintain and operate equipment for cardiovascular procedures
• Produce accurate medical records for interventions
• Train and supervise new personnel
• Participate in quality and performance improvement activities
• Ensure accurate and secure medical records
• Adhere to regulatory standards and safety rules
• Demonstrate leadership within the cardiovascular team
• Respond to scheduled emergency calls and other duties as assigned
